Over the last year we have continued to have a dedicated teacher whose main focus is instructing the children about environmental responsibility. The teacher uses our outdoor classroom for many lessons about science which include animals and plants. Our garden is used to grow plants which the children use in meals they prepare for special occasions, as well as to feed the animals in our science classroom. Our rabbits and turtles eat from the food grown in the garden.

The children in our program experience our beautiful space on a daily basis. The playground is full of plants and structures made of natural materials. There are always opportunities to explore plant and insect life. These lessons are carried into the indoor classroom by the teachers who foster and encourage a curiosity of our environment.
