Adventures Preschool
We received a generous grant in 2024 that allowed us to purchase outdoor shelving and covers for the building area, sand box, messy materials area and music area. The new shelving means staff spend less time pulling out materials each morning before children arrive and provides children in our program with wider variety of materials to use in the outdoor classroom. We also purchased new edging and an additional 10 yards of engineered wood fiber chips to add to our fall zone. Our local United Way organization provided us with volunteers to move and spread the EWF chips and remove old edging and install new edging. We also partnered with a local Boy Scout Troop to build and install a new Little Free Library next to the entrance to our outdoor classroom. The Little Free Library is very popular at dismissal time!
