Anythink Libraries
Our outdoor classrooms continue to be a key feature of nature-based exploration and learning here at Anythink Libraries.
We continue to host story times, conversation groups, concerts, and STEAM-based programming in our three outdoor classrooms, as well as self-guided experiences like nature-based scavenger hunts for littles.
One recent highlight we are proud of is the installation of three large works of art that have been added to each of our outdoor classrooms. Made using reclaimed wood, these human-sized “Spirit Nests” are beautiful and memorable features that continue to foster connections between our community and the natural world.
Some other highlights include fort building, mud painting, gardening, mariachi performances, and this past summer our outdoor classrooms were even visited by a herd of unicorns!
