The Nature Explore Classroom at

Central Texas Children’s Center

Our children love our outdoor space, we see them learn, discover, and appreciate the beauty of nature.

They learn to appreciate the life cycles of animals and plants, and how we have to care for them. They learn to take responsibility and have confidence in their newly learned skills. It is amazing to see the pride, independence and ownership that happens. Our classroom has been and will always continue to be a work in progress, changing, just like the plants in our garden.

We would just like to thank our volunteers from University of Mary Hardin Baylor and United Way Central Texas for providing consistency in helping to maintain our outdoor classrooms. A special thanks to Ron Emerson who has and continues to listen to our ideas and helps us implement them in the best and most productive ways possible, you are our angel.
