The Nature Explore Classroom at

Our story began back in 2018 when I had a goal of creating a nature-based area for children to play in.

A current family of 3 children were attending the center. Their father was a builder and I approached him to discuss my thoughts and we came up with a plan to build our structure using the current trees and to mimic a tree house. The tree house has a meeting area with table and benches in the highest peak. The swaying bridges bring you to different levels and to the exit stairs. This structure is the focal point of our playground. The center is in a very rural area with lots of trees and vernal pools. The structure officially opened up in December of 2018 and every year since I have been adding to our playground with the help of some very talented parents and staff. I will be adding a sensory pathway, a moving log bridge as well as a teepee and climbing walls.
