Discovery Kids
Over the past year, our Nature Explore Classroom at Discovery Kids has continued to evolve with thoughtful improvements that support both functionality and child engagement.

One of our most recent additions has been the installation of a deck at the entrance of our outdoor space, creating a more defined and welcoming transition into the classroom. In addition, we have added more natural borders throughout the yard to better define our learning areas, helping children move more independently and intentionally between spaces while maintaining a sense of organization within the environment.
While our classroom has had a strong foundation for many years, we are continuing to refine and build upon it with purpose. Our space is still growing and being put together in a way that supports open-ended exploration, creativity, and connection to nature.
The small forest behind our center remains one of our most unique features, offering children opportunities for deeper exploration and imaginative play. Our outdoor space also serves as a place for community and celebration, as we host our annual preschool graduation in the backyard—bringing families together in a meaningful and memorable way.
Looking ahead, we plan to add a deck in the back corner of the forest to serve as a stage, creating even more opportunities for performances, storytelling, and shared experiences. We are excited to continue enhancing our outdoor classroom and strengthening it as a space for discovery, learning, and connection.
