Gigi’s Child Care Home
This year, our Nature Explore Classroom received several meaningful upgrades. We added a shaded sitting area, which provides a comfortable space for children and visitors to gather outdoors. Additionally, a new picnic table, handcrafted by one of the fathers, now serves as a versatile spot for meals and craft activities.
The classroom has become a compelling example for other educators, demonstrating the benefits of incorporating nature areas into child care environments. Many educators have expressed interest in adopting similar outdoor learning spaces after seeing our setup. Our nature explore area has also been well received by visiting politicians. They have recognized the importance of outdoor learning, observing firsthand how children thrive and learn as they play outside. These visits have helped highlight the value of nature-based experiences in early childhood education.
