Infant & Toddler Playground

Our infants and toddlers have loved exploring our nature playground this year! We have a playhouse near the sand and water area which offers a lot of ways for children to pretend and explore. Our bike path in the wheel toyed area is a popular spot. The toddlers enjoy pushing wagons and trucks and riding on small bikes.

We’ve had families support us with our playground gardens. Several families started seeds at home and planted seedlings in the garden. Families organized a garden clean up day before winter during which they weeded, took out old plants, and put in new soil. We plan to have our gardens started in late winter/early spring this year.

We’re continuing to work on storage needs that work. We’ve added closed cabinets to hold art and teacher materials and weather-proof baskets to hold rakes and snow shovels. We are excited to see how our playground is maintained and changed throughout the next year.
