Gretchen’s House Dhu Varren-Preschool

The Preschool Playground at Gretchen’s House Dhu Varren hosts 4 preschool classrooms daily. It has two large sandboxes (one with a water trough), a play house, a rock garden, a building area with a wooden structure, a bucket swing, a pavilion with a gathering area and multiple gardens.

The children have space to grow and explore the outdoors with a variety of natural materials: sand and water, wood cookies, plants in the garden areas, the rock garden, and an art area with small natural materials. The children choose how to engage in their play while on the outdoor playground with teachers ready to support as needed.
