The Nature Explore Classroom at
Jamie Sloth’s Child Care
Our Nature Explore Classroom is a large space for children to enjoy. The children enjoy constructing and creating in multiple areas, such as the mud kitchen, messy materials, building, nature art, music and movement, and garden area.
They enjoy creating a garden of their own where they can work and play. They have created farm, fairy, forest, mermaid and even dirt-bike gardens. The children and families had a wonderful time making stepping stones during our Art Night. The children enjoy helping add dirt to our planters as well as growing the plants and using real tools, whether in the mud kitchen, building, garden, or messy materials areas.
The children have a sense of calm in the outdoors and a curiosity to learn and explore as they paint and create. We have groomed walking trails in the winter, we sled on a nearby hill. We love napping and eating outdoors too.
