KidLogic Early Learning Center

Since 2016, we have focused our efforts on providing natural, hands-on experiences for children to
get involved in nature. Gardening, our Koi fish pond, outdoor classrooms, and a variety of outdoor
activities keep the children in our program engaged.

We thoughtfully maintain our Nature Explore classroom to support hands-on, nature-based learning by adapting the environment based on seasonal changes and children’s interests. Materials are rotated and intentional setups are created to encourage exploration. We have also developed a new outdoor classroom that includes a bridge leading to an open space with hammocks, a natural hut formed by overhanging tree branches, and an outdoor swing, providing additional opportunities for discovery and movement.

We continue to encourage family engagement in nature by providing shared outdoor experiences
families can enjoy with their children. Families are invited to visit our pond after pickup, where
we provide koi fish food to support hands-on interaction. We also encourage families to spend
time together in our outdoor classroom, strengthening connections between home, school, and nature.
