Our playground space has always been a challenge. When we moved to this location in 2016, we felt fortunate to have multiple outdoor spaces but all were in need of some TLC.
Each outdoor space presented its own challenge from too little room to too much sun. As the years went on, we found ourselves indulging in nature and providing more natural experiences for our little ones where they could become one with nature. Our staff and children have had many hands-on experiences from growing their own fruits and vegetables to caring for the Koi fish in our pond. Our outdoor classrooms include a variety of different learning experiences from log balance beams to wooden mud kitchens. Nature is one of the best ways to keep a child imaginative, an explorer and teach them responsibility!
