Kinderberry Hill Minneapolis
The most unique thing about our Nature Explore classroom is that it is located on the rooftop of a high rise building, in downtown Minneapolis. There is nothing more exciting, than seeing the children use this special space, and giving prospective families a tour of this space. They are always in awe and so excited to see such a classroom in the middle of a large city.
We do our best to make our outdoor classroom accessible for toddlers through Preschool aged children. Perhaps one day our infants will be able to use it as well.
Even though it is pretty shaded in our outdoor classroom, we still find items to grow, such as tall grasses, some plants and a few vegetables. The children enjoy taking care of their items, specifically watering them.
Classrooms invite parents to join them for special events that are hosted in the outdoor classroom too. It is refreshing for everyone to be able to enjoy the outdoors instead of always being inside.
