This year has shown that outdoor learning has huge benefits on student mental health and academic performance. Students are often calmer and better able to focus when learning in nature, and teachers have reported better behavior and social interactions with fewer disciplinary issues. It helps with napping time too. We offered naptime for children outside too.
The highlight of this year – we were able to install an outdoor water facet stand for the classroom. Children were able to have an experience using facet and water in their daily art/sensory activities.
