Nature Explore: Outdoor Exhibit

Nature Explore: Outdoor Exhibit is a natural extension of MODS’ mission of connecting people to inspiring science. This outdoor space promotes Florida’s biodiversity by encouraging environmental stewardship, sustainability and life-long learning for all ages. It also complements existing experiences like Florida EcoScapes and the Food Forest, offering new ways for guests to discover and engage with the natural world. MODS is proud to collaborate with so many exceptional environmental partners to inspire the next generation of scientists, conservationists and change makers.

Discover an urban wildlife hub featuring engaging activities and interactive displays that showcase the importance of wildlife corridors and conservation efforts. Dig like a gopher tortoise, build a coyote den and create butterfly wings from natural materials like leaves, seeds and bark inspired by Florida’s native species — highlighting the importance of Florida wildlife corridors and conservation efforts. This exhibit supports the efforts of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation by raising awareness of the need to protect and connect critical natural habitats across the state.
