Operation Breakthrough

The outdoor classroom continues to grow right along side our children.

The space is being further developed to incorporate an orchard, a new toddler exploration area and an area dedicated to water play. The outdoor classroom has been a serene location for our children to reflect, safely explore nature, and enjoy the basics of the outdoor experience. Thanks to our many dedicated volunteers and generous donors, our outdoor classroom continues to be a clean manicured space to bring Kansas City’s urban children.

Our vegetable garden continues to produce delicious vegetables, our butterfly garden adds vibrant color and brings many new and exciting species of insects, and our new Missouri Natural Garden allows our children to begin the process of identifying local varieties of plant-life.
