I have always been a nature lover, so when I started working in early childhood education, it broke my heart to see that some children did not have any connection to nature or know what to do outdoors without plastic toys or electronic devices.
After working in a childcare center for a few years, I started my own in-home child care in 2011 with the hopes of expanding one day. In 2018, I expanded to an in-home early child care facility. It wasn’t until March 2020 when we were closed for five months for COVID 19 that I realized that this was my opportunity to not only be able to reopen and follow CDC guidelines but bring my vision to life! This was the best decision I could have made. The children love it and are learning so much about nature every day!
