Tiny Humans Child Care
At Tiny Humans Childcare, our Nature Explore Classroom was created to provide children with meaningful opportunities to connect with nature through play, exploration, and discovery. Our goal has always been to create an outdoor environment where children feel comfortable, curious, and inspired to learn from the natural world.

Over time, we have continued to develop and maintain our outdoor classroom so it supports children’s learning and creativity. The space includes both artificial grass and natural plants, allowing children to play safely while still experiencing natural elements. The artificial grass provides a clean and comfortable surface for daily use, while the plants help children observe growth, seasonal changes, and the beauty of nature.
Children regularly use the outdoor classroom for a variety of experiences. They explore natural materials, observe insects and plants, and engage in imaginative and creative play. Teachers guide children in observing weather changes, discussing nature, and using outdoor materials to support learning in science, art, language, and problem-solving.
Maintaining the Nature Explore classroom is an ongoing effort. We regularly check the space to ensure it remains safe, organized, and inviting for children. Natural materials are refreshed when needed, and the plants are cared for so the environment continues to grow and evolve.
Family engagement is also an important part of our program. We encourage parents to support outdoor play and nature exploration with their children and share the value of connecting with nature both at school and at home.
This year marks our second year of recertification, and we remain committed to strengthening our Nature Explore Classroom. At Tiny Humans Childcare, we believe that daily experiences in nature help children build curiosity, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for the natural world and also is VERY FUNNY.
