Over the past year, our Nature Explore Classroom has continued to grow as a space where children,
families, and educators connect with nature in meaningful and inspiring ways. One of the highlights of this year has been the addition of a sensory garden, which features a variety of plants chosen for their textures, scents, and colors, inviting children to engage their senses while learning about the natural world. We’ve also introduced seasonal planting projects that allow children and families to participate in the growth cycle of fruits and vegetables, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability and responsibility. These additions, combined with regular maintenance and creative updates, ensure that the space remains vibrant and engaging for all.
We are especially proud of the community support that has made these enhancements possible. This year, several volunteers joined us for a dedicated “Garden Day,” where they helped plant new greenery and construct additional seating areas for outdoor learning sessions. Families have also shared touching stories about how the classroom has become a cherished space for bonding and exploration beyond the school day. Thanks to their involvement and the dedication of our staff, our Nature Explore Classroom continues to thrive as a unique and special environment.
Looking ahead, we plan to host more family engagement events and explore new features, such as an interactive water play area, to further enrich this beloved space.
