What makes our Nature Explore Classroom unique & special?
We have an exceptional wooden fortress that offers a fantastic space for children to have free play time in a world that is often highly structured. We know the importance of giving kids the chance to simply be kids and be able to be curious in nature. Kids often foster new friendships across age groups in this space. Whether that is hide & seek, acting out fun scenarios, or building and digging in the sand pit, kids never cease to amaze us with their kindness and creativity.
Our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom has offered thousands of individuals the space to play and learn over the years, and we are so very thankful to be able to host such a special and unique space at YMCA Camp Kitaki.
